Troubleshooting CICS maps

I got a question regarding CICS maps. Below is my requirement. Please suggest a suitable solution.

My requirement is as follows:

In CICS screen (i.e., map), if I enter some value in the mixed case (lower and upper) I have to receive the same and I have to store it in the database as I entered in the screen (mixed case lower and upper).

I tried using CASE=MIXED in the BMS macro field but it is not working. I tried using RECEIVE ASIS option also but again I have constraints like before. When you receive the map it won't receive as is.

Can you suggest how to solve this problem? If possible with the example code.

It looks like your Terminal/TYPETERM definition is not correctly set to permit mixed-case input (the default situation will be to fold everything into upper case). See what UCTRAN is saying.
