The closet you can get to running IE on a Linux or BSD system is to actually run it under WINE.
What people think of as the "IE Emulator" for Firefox on Windows is actually a Firefox tab in which IE is embedded, so that it is running- on Windows, naturally. Firefox also offers an extension called User-Agent Switcher. It makes a website believe that you are running not Firefox, but IE.
