How can I avoid CICS from sending messages, like transaction abend messages, to the operator console (LOG)? I want...
my CICS region to send messages only to its SYSOUT. Most of the destinations of CISC messages are customisable via TDQ indirection. I suggest that you first check that you have not forgotten to indirect any of the CICS TDQs (like CSSL) to a DD pointing to SYSOUT. However, there are always some messages that want to go to the console as opposed to a TDQ because we believe that these are important!
You can change the destination of all messages using the XMEOUT GLUE so this might be what you want.
