Don't use RDO programs as tables

I need help on the following problem I am facing. In CICS I have defined an Assembler table as Resident. In my CICS program I am using a Load command to move high-values to this table. When I try to rewrite some data into this table, I get an ASRA.

The code and the data are perfectly fine. I have checked this by defining the same layout in Working Storage and moving the data into the layout. Also, when I debug the program using XPEDITOR, the data area for the table is shown as uneditable. It seems there is something wrong with the System Initialization Parameters or the Copile options.

You have got the program, being used as a table, loaded into Read Only Storage. Look at the RDO program definition.

However, I'd STRONGLY recommend not using this technique to hold data. There are lots of problems associated with it with the most obvious being a double update window.
