Can a CICS region be configured to keep running while a library in the RPL is deleted and redefined/reloaded to increase its size--CICS for OS/390?
Ah! Back in the mists of time when your expert was young (and CICS was CICS/XA 1.6) I was a CICS Sysprog and one of my usual problems was that a load library filled up or ran out of directory blocks and you, therefore, had to shut down your CICS rehgions to redefine and bump up the space in the load library. In those days ISPF was not around....remember running batch IEBCOPY jobs????
Things have, alas, not changed.
If you run out of space in a load library, the only thing one can do is stop all accesses to it (enforced by MVS through DISP=SHR) and recreate with a larger space allocation.
