Why did CICS development build a design for vtam generic resource only allowing one member of CICS generic name...
to communicate with a non CICS partner?
We have a CICSplex design where we want to have 3 CICS regions identified as members of a group that need to communicate via lu6.2 to an generic named group of IMS regions.
We discovered that only one member of the CICS group can communicate with the IMS generic name at a time.
I'm not going to comment on our Design Decisions in this forum. If you think this is a bug, you should raise a PMR - otherwise you should raise a Request against CICS in the normal fashion via your IBM representatives.
