This is a question about DASD log. Is there any way to allow the CICS DASD log to be accessed by the backup OS/390 system? The backup system and the current system are not in a SYSPLEX and CF is not used.
There is a whole lot of stuff about this type of sharing in the MVS Planning for a Parallel Sysplex book. However, I'd think very carefully before attempting to access the offloaded LOGT datasets in more than one place. If all else fails, SHROPTIONS(3 3) -- but beware!
