Unicenter Network and Systems Management (Unicenter NSM) r11.1 is a significant next step in the Unicenter NSM r11 roll-out plan. This release further integrates between Unicenter NSM and other CA products, as well as third party software. Additionally, Unicenter NSM r11.1 enables customers to use Microsoft SQL Server to host its integrated Management Database.
Unicenter NSM r11.1 new features include:
Management Command Center (MCC), which is the consolidation point for all operational activity. The MCC delivers a single user administrative interface for access to Unicenter components.
Advanced Historical Performance Reporting provides powerful, audience specific performance reports on systems within the IT infrastructure. Employs an intuitive, web based reporting interface to augment the real-time operational perspective with historical system performance trends.
Advanced Notification Services (ANS) provides more out-of-the box notification options and notification policies including Instant Messenger (SameTime), pager (SNPP), text messaging (SMS via HTTP), phone based (TAP), email (SMTP/POP3) and wireless (WCTP).
Management by Exception with Adaptive Dashboard Services enables customizable views of Unicenter components through a Web based interface which highlights only those issues that need human intervention
