Finally, the upgraded Tripp Lite 20 kVA - 30 kVA 3-phase UPS Systems locks up third in the data center backup power category. Tripp Lite claims that thier UPS's compact form is the smallest footprint for a cabinet in its class. The power and battery components are combined into a single module, and users can add additional battery packs to the system right through the front access door, allowing some scalability.
These units also feature on-line, double-conversion operation and IGBT technology that provides less than 3% total harmonic distortion. Additionally, a static bypass and manual maintenance bypass ensure continuous availability by safely passing through AC power if the UPS requires maintenance.
