SearchDataCenter.com is calling for entries for our second Data Center Manager of the Year competition. This award recognizes excellence in data center project management. Nominations can come from colleagues, supporting vendors and the contestants themselves.

The data center projects for consideration include consolidations, platform migrations, data center moves/renovations, certification projects, and new construction. These projects must have taken place during the 2008 calendar year.

Nominations will be judged by an independent panel for innovation, increased uptime or security, lowered expenses, increased performance and environmental awareness. Please submit your nomination to Matt Stansberry mstansberry@techtarget.com and include:

  • Type of project
  • Location, timeline and company info
  • Data center manager's contact info
  • A summary of why this project and nominee should be considered for Data Center Manager of the Year.

    Here are last year's winners.
