QUESTION POSED ON: 07 November 2003
How do we set up the existing IBM mainframe printer to print reports from CICS? We are able to print reports from batch. Now we want this printer to be enabled for CICS. Can this be done? If yes, what needs to be done?

EXPERT RESPONSE
I suggest you avoid using any 3270-type of printing. Instead, I think you should use the XC SPOOL commands and send things to the printer directly.
