Need help with CICS sockets concurrent listener

I am receiving multiple requests from our LAN platform to the CICS listener (EZACIC02)which spawns a transaction...

to do some mainframe work. However before the listener will accept the next request, I have to close the socket from the previous request. The IBM manual implies that the concurrent listener can start up to some 200 child tasks at the same time. What gives?

I do not understand in this question. I suspect that you have not properly associated the socket with the started transaction. I have used the code in the MVS books within CICS and it always worked satisfactorily for me.
