Changing Base column formats

OpenOffice instructor Solveig Haugland explains how to change the column formats in a Base database to reflect numeric values.

How can I change a field type format in a Base database created in custom table view to reflect the numeric view? When I entered my data, my numbers turned into zeroes instead of numerals.

Create the view and click the Run Query icon. In the results at the top of the window, right-click on the column...

name and choose Column Format. Specify the number format, including any decimals, leading zeros, etc.
