Can I call COBOL on a mainframe from .NET?

How can I call a COBOL routine located in a mainframe server from a .NET? How can I pass a record set?
I am not really sure. That is a question for .NET people. The IBM solution for distributed applications and Web services is WebSphere Application Server. With the IBM solution you can invoke COBOL on mainframe from a browser or other Web client. There are many IBM solutions for allowing access to mainframe code from workstations, browsers and clients. If you run WebSphere Application Server as your Web server, it is fairly easy! ".NET" is a Microsoft solution, so Microsoft could probably help you more if you want to use that.
